Neodymium Permanent Arc Shape Magnet
Sintered Neodymium Iron Boron Magnets or "NdFeB" magnets offer the highest energy product of any material today and are available in a wide range of shapes, sizes and grades. NdFeB magnets can be found in a variety of applications including high performance motors, brushless DC motors, magnetic separation, magnetic resonance imaging, sensors and loudspeakers.
Magnetic properties will differ depending upon alignment direction during compaction and upon size and shape.

Every magnet has a north seeking and a south seeking face on opposite ends. The north seeking face of one magnet will always be attracted
towards the south seeking face of another magnet.
Grades of Neodymium Magnet
Neodymium magnets are all graded by the material they are made of. As a very general rule, the higher the grade (the number following the 'N'), the stronger the magnet. The highest grade of neodymium magnet currently available is N52. Any letter following the grade refers to the temperature rating of the magnet. If there are no letters following the grade, then the magnet is standard temperature neodymium. The temperature ratings are standard (no designation) - M - H - SH - UH - EH.

Sintered Neodymium magnet is prepared by the raw materials being melted under vacuum or inert gas atmosphere in an induction melting furnace and processed in the strip caster and thus cooled to form alloy strip. The strips are crushed and pulverized to form a fine powder ranging from 3 to 7 microns in particle size. The powder is subsequently compacted in an aligning field and sintered into dense bodies. The blanks are then machined to the specific shapes, surface treated and magnetized.
